Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is coming to VR on the Oculus Quest 2 - pulsgointerstmen
Optic has declared that a VR interpretation of Grand larceny Auto: San Andreas is in development for the Oculus Quest 2.
The newsworthiness was announced during an eventful Facebook Connect showcase last nighttime. Details are svelte, but there's an official blurb. "Get a new perspective connected Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas as you experience (once again or for the first time) same of gaming's most iconic open worlds. This is a project many old age in the making, and we can't wait to express you more of it."
Timing wise, it's certainly an interesting move with the imminent release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Variant. We don't recognize if it'll use assets from that version, the 2004 original or its own thing. Could it also be related to the GTA externalize Dr Dre is supposedly writing euphony for? We've currently no idea and, as a matter of fact, the blurb is real all we know, for now.
Hopefully it won't be too long before we hear more. It'll become the second middle-00's game in modern months to get the VR treatment. Resident physician Evil 4 VR launched end week for the Oculus Pursuit 2 headset to almost universal ecla.
